All around the country this past week people paused from their busy lives to stop and thank those who have altered the course of their lives to defend our freedoms. The same can be said about the Merrick County Historical Museum who on Sunday held a meeting with our local veterans being recognized.

Kick off the Christmas season Sunday, November 27 at 7:00 p.m. with Merrick Arts Council’s next show featuring the Nebraska Brass. This is a five-piece brass group of Nebraska musicians performing holiday songs for the Christmas season.

Isaiah O. Graham, the St. Paul and Wolbach Branch Manager and Vice President of Homestead Bank, has graduated from the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado in Boulder, Colo. The state-of-the-art graduate school is one of the most prestigious in the nation, known for its in-depth handson banking program. Graham was among 169 graduates of the class of 2022 honored during a ceremony on July 28, 2022, in Boulder, Colo.
