20 Years Ago Residents of Central City and surrounding areas met recently at the Community Room to work on a comprehensive trails plan for Central City as they listened to Lloyd Castner with Kirkham Michael Consulting Engineers and Mary Hanson from the National Parks Service.

Merrick County Historical Museum along with Humanities Nebraska will feature Gary Rath speaking on “Civil War Medicine.” This is an informative program on the courageous efforts of doctors and nurses to save lives during the Civil War.
