Musical draws great crowd and responses

The annual Central City High School musical has become a great tradition in Central City and in recent years the performances have continued to impress. This year the cast of Mamma Mia! lived up to the high expectations as they performed three nearly sold out shows.

Museum mural installed as project moves forward

As people look at the current construction project of the Merrick County Historical Museum, they may notice that the project is starting to show great signs of progress once again. The project began as a dream decades ago and now the end of the long journey could be closing in.

The Merrick County Historical Museum building project recently took a large step towards completion as a one-of-a-kind mural depicting the history of Merrick County was installed. The Sten Eisentrager creation was transported in crates and each piece was numbered for installation.
