State supreme court to make stop in county

Body The Nebraska Supreme Court will make a stop in Merrick County next week as part of its annual Summer Tour, a statewide initiative designed to connect the state’s highest court with the people and trial courts that make up Nebraska’s judicial system.

Rural bridge buckles, road closed

Body A section of 7th Road southwest of Archer remains closed after the bridge buckled sometime in the evening of July 24th or early morning hours of July 25th. The closed section of road lies between O Road and P Road, just south of Archer Zion United Methodist Church.
