Extreme heat may have kept the Palmer High School Marching Band out of its uniforms, but it couldn’t keep the Tigers from making their first public performance of the season Wednesday at the Nebraska State Fair.

“Things went really, really good,” said Palmer Band Instructor Anna Sake of the event. “The kids did a great job.”
