CSC announces students on the President’s List

Chadron State College has announced 365 names on the President’s List. A cumulative grade point average of 4.0on a 4.0 scale is required for the academic honor. To qualify, students must also be enrolled in 12 credit hours of coursework, be seeking their first bachelor’s degree, and have no incomplete grades during the semester. One of the students to be announced on the President’s List is Aubree Quast of Clarks, NE

As the Central City High School hallways buzz with the energy of eager learners, at its core is a figure who embodies not just educational excellence, but a spirit of relentless pursuit of personal growth and community service. Mrs. Chelle Gillan, a science instructor par excellence, has been named the Central City Republican-Nonpareil Person of the Year for 2023, a fitting tribute to a woman who has become a pillar of the Central City community.

Service with a Smile Since 2016, Chasity Pfeifer has been a smiling face often found in a busy State Farm office in Central City.
