July 1, 1947 ~ September 9, 2023 Retired teacher and coach, and loving father and husband, Dan Gilson, age 76, of Aurora, passed on to a better place the morning of Saturday, September 9, 2023. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 A.M., Thursday, September 14th at the Presbyterian U.C.C.

August 21, 1947 ~ September 3, 2023 Jack Raymond Barton, age 76, of Chapman, passed away Sunday, September 3, 2023 at the Grand Island Veterans Home. A graveside service with military honors was held Friday, September 8, 2023 at 11:30am at the Chapman Cemetery.

July 18, 1931 ~ September 5, 2023 Joyce Lorraine (McCosh) Levander, 92, of Central City, died peacefully on September 5, 2023 at Litzenberg Long Term Care Facility, where she had been since May. A service of remembrance was held on Monday, September 11, 2023 at 11 a.m.

Viola Marie Bodfield July 6, 1953 ~ September 4, 2023 Viola Marie Bodfield, 70, of Central City died Monday, September 4, 2023 at Merrick Medical Center in Central City. Celebration of Life services will be Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 11 a.m.

February 8, 1946 ~ August 27, 2023 Michael R. Bowman, 77, of Central City died on Sunday, August 27, 2023 at Merrick Medical Center in Central City.
