Viola Marie Bodfield July 6, 1953 ~ September 4, 2023

Viola Marie Bodfield, 70, of Central City died Monday, September 4, 2023 at Merrick Medical Center in Central City. Celebration of Life services will be Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Solt-Wagner Community Room with Deacon Don Placke officiating. There will be no visitation. Burial of ashes will be at a later date.

Viola was born on July 6, 1953 in Kearney to Rex and Mary (Stevens) Lindholm. She attended Axtell High School and graduated in 1972. She stayed and worked at Bethphage, which is now Mosaic for 35 years. She retired in 2012. She then moved to Marquette in 1994 and then to Central City in 2004. She married Gerald “Jerry” Bodfield in Kearney.

Viola enjoyed horses, wolves, dream catchers, and flowers. She especially loved life which included her family and her grandchildren. Her grandchildren were her life.

She is survived by her daughter- Amber (Micky) Paup of Central City,; son- Matthew Bodfield of Central City; two brothers- Randy (Andy) Lindholm-Snider of Cedar Rapids, IA; and Gerald Lindholm of Kearney; four grandchildren- Sahara, Mieke, Steven, and Ashton; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; sister in law- Joy Lindholm of Kearney.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, son- Dustin “Dusty” Bodfield, brother- Lee Lindholm.
