Tonya Bengtson, age 46, of Aurora, passed away Friday, April 26, 2024, at Westfield Quality Care in Aurora.

Tonya’s wishes were to be cremated and the family will have a Celebration of Life at a later date. No Visitation. Memorials may be made to the family to designate at alaterdate. Tonya Ray Bengtson, the daughter of Dale and Penny (Nelson) Bengtson, was born at Central City, on April 14, 1978, and passed away in Aurora on April 26, 2024, at the age of 46.

Tonya grew up in Hordville and graduated from Polk-Hordville HighSchoolin1996. Followinghergraduationsheworkedinthe food service industry.

She loved being outside with nature, camping and loved listening to birds and fishing Survivors of the immediate family include her four children, Kellee (Garry) Hall of Aurora, Kehlanee Bengtson of Aurora, Shawn Bengtson- Packett of Omaha and John Bengtson-Packett of Omaha; parents, Penny and Dale Bengtson of Hordville; sisters, Thresea (Rich) Kinsey of Aurora and Michelle (Jonal) Broekemier of Grand Island; one grandchild. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and many other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother and grandfather.
