Todd Hermansen, 73, of Aurora, passed away on Monday, December 1, 2025 at Bryan/LGH West Medical Center in Lincoln.

Todd’s wishes were to be cremated. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 12th at St. John’s Lutheran Church at Kronborg. Pastor Ricardo Riqueza will officiate. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for future designation. Condolences may be sent to the family through the mortuary website at www.higbymortuary. com.

The family will hold a celebration of life at a later date.

Todd Thomas Hermansen, the son of Rex R. and Bonnie Lou (Benson) Hermansen, was born at Aurora on June 30, 1952 and passed away in Lincoln on December 1, 2025 at the age of seventy- three.

Todd grew up on the family farm east of Marquette. He was baptized and confirmed at St. John’s Lutheran Church at Kronborg. Todd graduated from Marquette High School in 1970. He farmed with his dad until the late 1990s, when he began his trucking career with Stettner Trucking. Todd was working for Midwest PMS (Biegert Feeds) at the time of his death. Todd was proud to have lived on his grandparents’ homeplace for his entire life.

Todd was married to Donna Osman on August 24, 2001 in Grand Island.

Todd enjoyed deep sea fishing in Cabo and vacations in Mexico. He loved the Huskers and had an extensive Coca Cola collection. Todd always enjoyed spending time with his dogs. He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church.

Todd was preceded in death by his parents and niece, Megan Christenson.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Donna of Marquette; sister, Julie (Roger) Christenson of Aurora; brothers-in-law, Robert (Rebekah) Osman of Elizabethtown, Kentucky and Randy Osman of Arizona. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family members, and numerous friends.
