Steven R. Guy, 79, of Central City, died on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at Mary Lanning Hospital in Hastings. The family chose to hold a private burial in Elkhorn Cemetery.

Solt-Wagner Funeral Home of Central City is assisting the family. Steve was born in Wood River to William and Rose (Schade) Guy on April 9, 1945.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife; Linda Biel of Central City, his children; Danny Guy of Lincoln, Becky Guy of Jansen, Wayne Guy of Central City and Mary Guy of Central City, his sister; Ardith Ballagh of Burwell, 6 grandchildren and multiple grea-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and son; Billy Guy.
