January 31, 1974 - January 14, 2025 Sandra Marie Musick

Sandra Marie Musick was born January 31, 1974, in Clovis, New Mexico, and passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at SSM Health – St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City, at the age of 50 years, 11 months and 13 days.

Sandra was born with Down Syndrome but she never let it hold her back. She was a ball of love from the very beginning. She was tiny but mighty and a force to be reckoned with her whole life. Sandra was adopted at the age of 2 by her mother, Jeannie Musick, and joined a family with three brothers, Kevin, Keith, and Joshua, and later a sister, Jessica.

Sandra lived in the home for 26 years where she was loved and adored by her siblings. She graduated high school and soon joined an adult training program where she was popular with the teachers and students alike. She enjoyed everything she did—ripping and coloring books, coloring, and playing with blocks. Sandra loved swimming, being involved with Special Olympics, dancing and brushing everyone’s hair. The highlight of her days was going to the farm with “Yayee”, riding in the pickup and the tractor, and listening to 60’s music. Sandra loved clowning around, copying everyone else’s habits to be the center of attention in the room.

Sandra was preceded in death by her nephew, Keenan Musick.

Sandra is survived by her mother, Jeannie Musick and partner, Roger W. “Yayee” Prochaska; three brothers, Kevin Musick and wife, Sheri, Keith Musick and wife, Lacy and their children, Brodii, Eli, Noah and Ben, Joshua Musick and wife, Kelsi and their children, Amaria, Maddox and Titus, and Jessica Christensen and husband, Shane and their children, Huyler, Given and Khyren.
