Gloria Mae Tagge, 88, of Grand Island, passed away, Friday, May 22, 2026 at Prairie Winds in Doniphan.

A celebration of life will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 5th, 2026, at Trinity United Methodist Church in Grand Island, with Pastor April officiating. Burial of ashes will follow in the Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to The Family to be designated at a later date. Gloria was born March 1, 1938, to Doris and Wayne Rieflin in Grand Island. She graduated from Doniphan High School. She was united in marriage to Frank Tagge on December 6, 1958.

She worked as a deputy county clerk of Merrick County, which she loved.

She enjoyed camping, boating, reading, music, and pickle cards.

Gloria is survived by her two children, Jeff Tagge and Jill (Rick) Hahne; three grandchildren, Tamara Tagge, Kelli Going, and Jake Hahne; and six great-grandchildren with one on the way.

Gloria is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Tagge; son, Jon Tagge; and her parents.
