Evelyn Erickson, born December 23, 1927, in Thurston County, Nebraska, was called home to be with her Lord on Thursday, February 19, 2026.
Funeral services were held on Monday, February 23, 2026 at the Solt-Wagner Funeral Home in Central City.
A time of Fellowship was held at the Solt-Wagner Community Room following the funeral service.
Interment was in the Mamre Evangelical Free Church Cemetery near Marquette, Nebraska.

Evelyn spent the early part of her life in the Marquette area and later made Lincoln her home for many years as a longtime member of the Back to the Bible Broadcast family, serving faithfully for more than thirty-five years.
She eventually retired in Central City. Evelyn enjoyed many hobbies, especially reading, crafts, and keeping in touch with her family.
She is survived by two nieces, Sue Nissen and her husband Jeff and their sons Benjamin (wife Jordan, children Eve and Paul), Timothy (wife Aubry, children James and Henry), and Caleb; and Becky Rock and her husband LeRoy, and their sons Eric (wife Angie, daughter Nettie) and Kevin.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edoff and Ruth Erickson, and her brothers Donald, Edward (wife Phyllis), and Norman.
Evelyn’s life stands as a testimony to faithful service, steadfast belief, and a heart devoted to Christ.
