Dorothy was born September 3, 1931 in Central City and died peacefully on October 2, 2022, with her two children by her side.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 5, at 2pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home with a reception following the service.

Dorothy is survived by daughter and son-in-law Kim Dunovan and Jerre Tritsch, Omaha; son and daughter-in-law Kent and Karen Dunovan, Omaha; grandchildren Kyle Dunovan (Eva Dundas), Reston, VA; Megan Dunovan (Willie Hammack) Flagstaff, Ariz.; Shanon (Peter) McLeay, Omaha; Sam Tritsch, Omaha and Ben Tritsch, Fort Collins, Colo.; great-grandchild Peter D. McLeay. Preceded in death by her husband, Charles Dunovan, parents, Hugh and Lois Mesner and grandson, Alonzo Cross.
