Martin “Marty” Paul Milby, 65, of Fullerton, passed peacefully on to his heavenly home on Friday, December 5, 2025.

A memorial service was held on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at the Community Bible Church in Central City. Palmer Santin Funeral Home is serving the family.

Marty was born July 13, 1960, to Dale and Mary (Meyers) Milby in Fullerton. He attended Kremer District #23 School in rural Nance County from kindergarten through eighth grade. He went on to attend Fullerton High School where he participated in FFA, wrestling, and track and field, graduating in 1978. He stayed to work on the family farm south of Fullerton and attended Hastings Tech for two winters where he studied electronics.

Marty met his wife, Priscilla Luce, at a Bible study in February of 1984 and they were married on December 1st of that same year. They had two children, Jessica Lynn and Matthew James. Marty continued farming until the fall of 2005. In 2007, he began working at Rally Auto Parts in Fullerton, where he became “Napa Marty” until its closing in 2019. He worked at Preferred Popcorn in Chapman from 2021 until 2023 when he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.

Marty accepted Christ as his Savior at a young age and recommitted his life to the Lord while at Tech. He sang in the choir at the United Methodist Church in Fullerton for many years and later became a member of the Community Bible Church in Central City, where he served on the Worship Team. His faith and desire to share his love for Christ became stronger after his cancer diagnosis.

Marty enjoyed music, and it did not matter if he was in a vehicle, working on computers, or fixing things in the shop, the radio was always on. He also liked most everything that went “boom”— the bigger the betterwhether target shooting or celebrating the family- favorite holiday, the Fourth of July. He could fix almost anything, from toys to electronics or things mechanical. When something would break, it was not uncommon to hear “Dad/Papa/Uncle Marty can fix it!”

Members of his immediate family left to cherish his memory are his wife of forty-one years, Priscilla; his children, Jess Milby and Matt (Callie) Milby, both of Fullerton, grandsons, Samuel and Milo; sisters, Cheryl Still of Elm Creek, Connie (Gary) Loseke of Fullerton, and Marla (Steve) Bush of Lincoln; brothers-in-law, Jim (Janie) Luce of South Carolina, David (Donna) Luce of New Hampshire, Dan (Kelly) Luce of New Hampshire, and Stephen Luce of New Hampshire; sisters-in-law, Marilynn (Ed) Ritta of Marquette, and Carolynn Luce of Central City; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Mary Milby; a brother-in-law, Terry Still; father and motherin- law, Wesley and Elizabeth Luce; and sistersin- law, Beverly Luce and Kathy Luce.

Marty donated blood at every opportunity and when he was unable to be an organ donor, he chose to donate his body to science at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Fullerton Volunteer Fire Department, Fullerton Volunteer Rescue, Fullerton Cemetery, and the Community Bible Church in Central City.
