Wanda May Stranberg, 70, of Central City died Saturday, October 29, 2022 at her home. Graveside services was Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at 11 a.m. at the Clarks Cemetery with Pastor Mark Hartley officiating. Burial was in the Clarks Cemetery. There will be no visitation.

Wanda was born on August 21, 1952 in Grand Island to Bernard and Wilma (Dittmer) Didier. She grew up in Clarks and graduated from Clarks High School in 1970. She then attended Nursing School and became an LPN. She began her nursing career with working at Bethesda Care Center in high school and finally at Litzenberg Memorial County Hospital for most of her career.

She married Rich Stranberg on October 23, 1971 at the Mamre Evangelical Church near Marquette.

Wanda enjoyed reading, antiquing and rescuing pets, especially her many dogs.

She is survived by her husband, Rich; daughter, Heather (John) Cronander of Lee Summit, MO; son, Richie Stranberg of Clarks; two grandchildren, Adalyn and Bryston Stranberg; and brother, Rod (Holly) Didier of Lincoln.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Larry and Darryl Didier.
