James Dean Wandfluh
James Dean Wandfluh October 9, 1966 - April 17, 2025
James Dean Wandfluh, born 10-9-1966, son of Donald D & L Jean Wandfluh, passed away from a 4 wheeler accident on 4-17-2025 at age 58.
James was born to be a cowboy. His calling in life was to be a free spirit and he lived life on his terms.
He was married twice and to those unions were born four amazing kids.
James was a natural athlete. He matured quickly, so he was a man competing amongst boys throughout his Junior High and High School days. He had success in all sports he played.
He loved the outdoors, hunting and animals, especially horses. He loved to break young horses, he learned to rope and ride, how to shod horse hooves, bull riding, and was a rodeo clown.
He was hired as an extra and a stuntman in a few movies and performed stunts at Rawhide Ranch for their Wild West shows. He was fearless and was always looking for the next big thrill and adrenaline rush.
James was a nomad. He lived in NE, CO, WY, AZ, TX, and KS. He made friends easily with his quick wit and gift for gab. He also knew the Lord, and even though he fought his own demons, he did talk about Jesus wherever he roamed.
His family and friends take comfort in knowing his spirit is now free in heaven and he’s having the ride of his life for eternity.
He leaves behind a sister, Christy Wandfluh, and a brother Brett Wandfluh, 2 daughters, a son, and 6 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and a son. Everyone was welcome to the Graveside Service at the Central City Cemetery on Fri., April 28th, at 3 PM. Afterwards there was food and drinks and laughter shared at The Independent Club as we celebrated his unique life.
