William “Bill” A. Walgren, 58, of Central City, died on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at Merrick Medical Center in Central City. There will be no services per Bill’s wishes.

com. Bill was born on January 17, 1966 in Grand Island to Shorty and Rexene (Moore) Walgren. He grew up in Central City and graduated from Central City High School in 1985. Bill worked various jobs including Swift in Grand Island. He was a Golden Gloves Boxer, but was a very kind soul. He would help do anything someone needed help with no matter what. He enjoyed fishing and rock and roll music. His family was his greatest love, especially his nieces and nephews.

Those left to cherish his memory are his siblings; Jim (Chris) Moore of Central City, Tim Walgren of Illinois, and Dana Walgren and his fiancé Teresa Foland of Iowa, his nieces and nephews; Sara and Zachary Moore, Kala Walgren, Kaci Walgren, Saylar Walgren, Sage Walgren, Clifford Walgren, Tony McPhillips and Darby Heskett.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
