October 23, 1944 - January 15, 2024

Barbara was born on October 23, 1944 to Jack and Mary (Webb) Cole in Sioux City, Iowa. She grew up in the Fremont and Winnebago area. She then moved to Ponca where she met Robert Beldin, and they were married in Ponca on July 23, 1962. To this union were four daughters. They then moved to Norfolk where she worked at Henningsen Foods and Zenith TV. They then moved to their farm on Prairie Island in 1977. Barbara was a working mother, and held several jobs in the area.

Barb was always active. She enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, hunting, gardening, working with her flowers, and boating. Her greatest love was getting to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband; Robert of Clarks, her daughters; Tammy Beldin of Grand Island, Patty (Tom) Novicki of Tilden, Lisa (Lyndon) Arehart of Ravenna, and Bobbie Beldin of Marquette, her siblings; Patricia Schroeder of Casper, WY, Jackie Kossert of Casper, WY, and James Cole of Casper, WY, her 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Barbara J. Beldin, 79, of Clarks, died on Monday, January 15, 2024 at Litzenberg Memorial Long Term Care in Central City. Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, June 14, 2024 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Obert Community Hall in Obert.
