The Nebraska State Fair is just two days away. Get ready to Showcase Your Fair Face at this year’s celebration at Fonner Park in Grand Island.

The University of Nebraska–Lincoln conferred 556 degrees during a combined graduate and undergraduate commencement ceremony on August 16th at Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln. The 548 graduates were from thirty-nine countries; thirty-four states and Puerto Rico; and seventy-plus Nebraska communities.

The summer driving season is rolling to a stop and the Nebraska State Patrol is working to keep roadways safe. Troopers throughout Nebraska will be working overtime for the next few weeks as part of the national Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign.
