The Wiegert Family Farm, with its roots reaching back more than a century and a half, was honored as a 2023 Heritage Farm Family at the Merrick County Fair Tuesday night. The Ferris Heritage, along with the Halstead/Ferris Windbreak Pasture were both celebrated as Pioneer Farm Families.
