Is Friday the 13th really so unlucky?

Individuals who are superstitious may keep careful eyes on the calendar so they know just when the thirteenth day of the month lands on a Friday. In 2022, May is the only month with a Friday the 13th. There won’t be another Friday the 13th until January 2023.
City Council held meeting

On Monday night the City Council of Central City met for their regularly scheduled meeting with a short, but important agenda as they looked to wrap up items discussed in their September meeting while also looking towards the future.
Harvest of Harmony Parade 2023

Saturday the annual Harvest of Harmony Parade took over the streets of Grand Island and there were many local faces in the crowd of parading people. The Central City High School band took place in the parade and also the field show at Grand Island Senior High.
