Returning state qualifier Amelia Buhlke started her junior season in fashion last week, winning the season opening St. Paul Cross Country Invite and helping the Lady Bison to a fourth place finish in the team standings.

Buhlke’s closest competition came from crosstown rival McKinley Mankin, who finished just under a minute slower than the Bisons’ winning time of 20:14.
