Two more timber bridges in Merrick County have been closed in the weeks since July 25th, when a bridge on 7th Road southwest of Archer buckled.

Merrick County Highway Superintendent Brent Kunze said one bridge went down five days after the 7th Road bridge was closed, while another was subsequently closed by the county because of its condition.
