County fair to begin on Saturday at Central City

The Merrick County Fair will return to Central City this weekend, running August 1st through August 5th, bringing five days of livestock shows, family entertainment, carnival rides, live music, food vendors, competitions, and grandstand events under the theme, Stars, Stripes and Fair Nights.
