10 YEARS AGO Former deputy for the Merrick County Sheriff’s Office, Dave Sullivan, has died of an apparent heart attack. Sullivan, 43, ran an unsuccessful campaign for Sheriff during the 2014 election cycle. Prior to that time, he had achieved the rank of sergeant.
