Cornerstone Seniors batter the competition with dominant start

Klash of the Kern On Tuesday night the home opener was played at Kernel Field with the Post #6 Juniors and Seniors taking on their Kernels teammates who play for DCB. It was a draw in the end with the Central City Juniors getting the win, but the DCB Seniors earned a victory in the second game.  
It was a weekend of highs and lessons for the Central City American Legion Post #6 Cornerstone Seniors at the Seniors Cornerstone Classic. With a 3-1 record, the team finished in a three-way tie for first place, though the tiebreaker rules remained a mystery.
