The 22-23 school year is progressing quickly. Hard to think we are already a month into the school year. The fall semester is filled with opportunities for students and community members to be involved in our youths’ lives. If you are wanting more information about school activities, be sure to check out our activities calendar on the school website. There is rarely an evening without something going on, and it is a great way to support our kids.
Our staff members work hard to host events and oftentimes get pulled in multiple directions: coaching, taking tickets, helping in the concession stand, running the scoreboard, taking stats, streaming/filming, the list goes on…Without our supportive staff, these opportunities for kids couldn’t exist. And, it’s easy to forget that after each event, someone is working after hours to clean, tear down, and prepare for another day. If you get a chance, thank one of our custodians. Even with the plethora of events taking place, throughout various locations in our school, our buildings continue to be a clean, safe, and enjoyable environment for our students, athletes, and community. Our school theme this year is “Be Kind”. So whether at an event or throughout the community, let’s strive to live up tothis. Wehavesomuchtobe thankful for, and I’m excited to see our community work together to highlight the positives - our kids deserve it.
