Young Eagles gives local youth the opportunity to see home from above

Preflight Checklist Multiple local youngsters got the opportunity to explore the sky above Central City as the EAA Chapter 1571 Husker Flying Club hosted their Young Eagles Rally at the Central City Municipal Airport on Saturday morning. Following the storms instructors such as Keal Bockelman educated the youth preflight.  
On Saturday, July 29, the EAA or Experimental Aircraft Association, had their special Young Eagles rally out at the Central City Municipal Airport. Kids ages 8 to 17 were able to come out and learn all about the aviation industry and planes. And, they all got a turn for a free ride in an airplane with Local Pilots Don Imhoff and Keal Bockelman.
