Clarks receives housing grant through hard work and help of celebrity donor

The village of Clarks has seen their share of struggles in the past few decades as they merged schools and witnessed a population decline. It now is a community on the rise once again as they have taken an active approach to securing new housing with the hopes of that leading to more families within the village.  
Clarks has recently received the Rural Workforce Housing Grant after a pledge drive that was done by the Village of Clarks and CHIP. While they had a much lower goal, they ended up receiving double what they set out to make, thanks to one particular Clarks native.
