RESIDENTS from across Merrick County descended on the Merrick County Fairgrounds on Saturday to dispose of tires during the county’s tire amnesty event. Around 250 tons of scrap tires could be collected as a part of the effort. Photos by Michael Happ  
The 2025 Merrick County Tire Amnesty took place this Saturday, August 16th at the Merrick County fairgrounds.
