Congratulations and Thank You After a twenty-year career in the United States Air Force, MSG. Danyal (Palm) Metz (right) has retired and now shifts her focus back to her first love, horses and her husband Ian (left). Her love of horses was born right here at home in Central City as she learned life lessons that served her well in her career.  
Master Sergeant Danyal M. Metz (née Palm) is retiring after a distinguished 20-year career in the United States Air Force. The daughter of Dennis and Diane Palm of Central City, Danyal grew up with a fiery passion for 4-H and showing horses, eventually winning the 2002 Fonner Park State 4-H Horse Exposition.
