A new clerk magistrate joined the Merrick County court last week, Aaron Benson. For the new hire, the job marks both a new professional opportunity and a return to familiar ground.

Benson, a Central City native and resident, officially began serving as Merrick County’s Clerk Magistrate on August 6th. He had previously held the same position in Nance County for over a year.
