Merrick County got a little help recently on its newest 4H project with a $10,000 assist from Trans- Canada, builders of the Keystone XL oil pipeline.

TransCanada’s donation is earmarked for helping to pay off the Merrick County Youth and Agriculture Education Center- the newest building on the county’s fairgrounds.
