Harold H. Kuck, 87 of Grand Island died Friday, July 26, 2013 at the Grand Island VA Medical Center.
Services was held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday at the Zion Lutheran Church at Worms. Reverend Craig Niemeier officiated. Burial was in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery.
Visitation was from 5-7 p.m. Monday at Zion Lutheran Church. Memorials are suggested to Zion Lutheran Church. Condolences may be sent to www.giallfaiths.com

Mr. Kuck was born October 12, 1925 on a family farm near Worms the son of Herman and Katie (Michelsen) Kuck.
Harold was raised on the farm and attended Zion Lutheran School. He served in the United States Navy in 1945 as a Seaman 2nd Class. On June 12, 1949 he was united in marriage to Rose Ehn.
He farmed all of his life and also was employed by the sugar beet factory in Grand Island, American Maze in Central City and German Farmers Mutual Insurance Company.
He is a lifelong member of Zion Lutheran Church where he was baptized and confirmed; a member of the American Legion and the Platt Duesche. Harold enjoyed playing golf and playing cards.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Rose; children and their spouses, Steve (Virgie) Kuck of Grand Island, Don (Laura) Kuck of Phoenix, Jerry (Kathy) Kuck of Central City and Deb (David) Lemburg of Grand Island; sister, Annetta Bosselman of Grand Island; sisters-in-law, Edna Kuck of Grand Island and Dorthy Johnson of McCook.
He is also survived by nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and one great great-grandson and soon to be blessed with two additional great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by an infant son, David; his parents, brothers, Eric and Lawrence and sister, Agnes Scheer.
