Summers are often times when dads and kids have more time to do things together. This may be particularly true for fathers who do not have primary custodial care of their children. It is important for dads to realize the value of being involved with your children. Some dads may feel that bringing home a paycheck to supply the needs of the family is their way to be involved or to show love. That is one part of being an involved father, but it should be much more than that.
