Council sells lot to irrigation firm

In the final step of a long legal process, the City of Central City sold a portion of a lot it purchased earlier to a company planning to open an irrigation business on the far east side of town.

At Monday’s regular Central City Council meeting the council voted to approve sale of the land to Perfect Circle Irrigation for $25,000. The land is part of the parcel located between Donna’s Prairie Cafe and Herk’s Welding; the balance of the land is intended for construction of a new fire barn.
Perfect Circle spokesmen have said they intend to begin construction on the site as soon as possible.
