Cantata features 4 generations

When the Lone Tree Singers took the stage at the Community Bible Church in Central City for their annual Christmas cantata on Sunday, the group featured a rather unusual combination: four generations of female vocalists took part in making the Christmas story come alive through music.

Millie Creutzberg, who lives on the family farm north of Central City and who has participated as a soprano in the Singers’ annual Easter and Christmas concerts for a decade or more, was joined on Sunday by her 87-year-old mother, Ruth Speicher.
